Artist's Description
We often paddle on the Susquehanna River. This time we were having such a great time that we forgot about the actual time and started back late. It turned into a paddling race to get to our starting point before dark set in.

About Susan Sarabasha
Growing up in Brooklyn, I spent part of most summers on the beach but really fell in love with the natural world and animals when my parents started sending me to the 'wilds' of New Jersey for summer camp. The inspiration for my work still remains Nature’s mysteries and beauties. I completed my undergraduate education at Alfred University and Empire State College, majoring in Engineering and Art, and received an MFA in Illustration, from Syracuse University, specializing in natural science and technical illustration.
