Sissy was brought home as an adult rescue. She spent the first 6 months in her new home mostly under a bed. One day she popped out and never looked back. She was affectionate and playful. Her favorite movie was Saturday Night Fever and her fav music was motown.
About Susan Sarabasha
Growing up in Brooklyn, I spent part of most summers on the beach but really fell in love with the natural world and animals when my parents started sending me to the 'wilds' of New Jersey for summer camp. The inspiration for my work still remains Nature’s mysteries and beauties. I completed my undergraduate education at Alfred University and Empire State College, majoring in Engineering and Art, and received an MFA in Illustration, from Syracuse University, specializing in natural science and technical illustration. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of materials, including hand painted silk art quilts, pastels and colored pencil drawings.
