The name is a play on words.
Growing up in Brooklyn, I spent part of most summers on the beach but really fell in love with the natural world and animals when my parents started sending me to the 'wilds' of New Jersey for summer camp. The inspiration for my work still remains Nature’s mysteries and beauties. I completed my undergraduate education at Alfred University and Empire State College, majoring in Engineering and Art, and received an MFA in Illustration, from Syracuse University, specializing in natural science and technical illustration.
